Looking for seasonal work in excellent conditions?
Compliment is a family-run business that proudly grows, harvests and packs fresh vegetables. We are an innovative company. The peak season runs from May to November. Seasonal employees then take care of harvesting and packing. In the months of December to April, we clean the Chinese cabbages stored in the cold stores. At the end of February, we start planting the vegetables. Some positions are for a fixed period of time. Should you wish to continue working with us when your term particular position is up, we can of course always look for another position.

You’ll be right at home
When you join us, you are employed directly by Compliment BV. Transport to and from work is fully arranged. Upon starting with us, you will receive your work clothes: a polo shirt and rain trousers. We provide a clear introduction, to ensure you, as an employee, immediately understand how the company works and to make sure you quickly feel at home. We use an app so you always have an overview of the planning and can communicate with the HR officer who speaks your native language. You can also see your hours worked and all your signed documents.

Accommodation
Are you in need of accommodation? Compliment has several different accommodation for seasonal workers, so they can provide for you. Our locations consist of high-quality rooms, certified with the Agrarisch Keurmerk Flexwonen (AKF, translation: Agricultural Quality Mark for Flexible Living). This shows that we comply with the applicable requirements and that we house our employees properly and correctly. All accommodation and houses are fully furnished, including inventory. Each room is suitable for two people. Of course, we take individual wishes into account where possible (family, friends, partners, wife, husband).

Shops within cycling distance
Shops for your daily groceries are within cycling distance. On Saturdays, we also give you the opportunity to go to the shop with free company transport.

We’re looking for:
PLANTER (LATE FEBRUARY – LATE AUGUST)
The first step in growing our vegetables, is planting. That's your job, working a machine. Said machine is suspended behind a GPS-controlled tractor. You distribute the crates and place the plants in the gutters, after which the machine plants them.

  • You will receive a monthly salary according to hourly wages.
  • Compensation is according to the collective labor agreement for open cultivation, appropriate to your position.

HARVEST WORKER (MID-MAY – EARLY DECEMBER)
As a harvest worker, you will harvest the required crops in the fields, in a team of about 10 to 25 people and a team leader. You do this manually, supported by a harvesting machine. The team leader will explains what to do, which makes your job easier. We will provide you with rain trousers, knives and other equipment free of charge. Be prepared for physical work, you will be hunched over to harvest every day.

HARVEST TEAM LEADER (MID-MAY – EARLY DECEMBER)
Your day starts by driving to the field with tractor and trailer. Then you check whether your team (about 10 to 25 people) is complete. The order planning on your tablet indicates which and how many products need to be harvested. You ensure a pleasant atmosphere, motivate and encourage your harvest workers and help them make harvesting as easily as possible. The logistics employee, with whom you are in direct contact, takes care of the timely exchange of trailers. You also do light administrative work.

TRACTOR DRIVER FOR PLANTING WORK (LATE FEBRUARY – LATE AUGUST)
You will be responsible for transporting planting machinery, assisting in the planting process, coordinating the team, navigating using GPS and ensuring safety standards while planting crops. You will do this using a very modern tractor and trailer that will allow you to drive safely and smoothly. When the planting season is over, we may see if another position becomes available for you.

  • You will receive a monthly salary according to hourly wages.

OPERATOR PACKAGING DEPARTMENT (YEAR-ROUND)
You will operate and monitor packaging machines in a production environment. You guarantee the quality of packaged products, solve any malfunctions, supervise the production flow, manage the stock of packaging materials, ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards and report on production data. You work in a team that you can motivate and encourage. You'll receive your orders directly from the customers, have direct contact with the transporters, and create correct production planning based on this. This ensures that everything is ready on time. You also carry out light administrative work.

LOGISTICS EMPLOYEE / TRACTOR DRIVER (MID-MAY – EARLY DECEMBER)
As a member of the dispatch team, you will be responsible for the supply of fresh vegetables in our production hall. Using an electric pallet truck or forklift, you load and unload fresh vegetables from a tractor with trailer. You'll drive safely and smoothly with our very modern tractors and trailer from the production hall to the fields and vice versa, where you change the trailer.

CHERRY PICKER (MID-JUNE – LATE JULY)
As a cherry picker in a harvest team, you make sure the cherries are picked from the trees. When doing this manual labor, you carefully select the ripe cherries, working together in teams, and keep a close eye on fruit quality. You are aware of hygiene regulations.

HOEING MACHIEN DRIVER (APRIL – SEPTEMBER)
As a tractor driver operating a hoeing machine, you will remove weeds between crops precisely and efficiently. You perform basic checks and maintenance and report on the work carried out. You play a vital role in promoting healthy crop growth by effectively controlling weeds. You will do this using a state-of-the-art tractor for which you are responsible and which will allow you to drive safely and smoothly.
